We are very excited to announce the first annual Northeast South Dakota Celtic Faire and Games, on the third Saturday of every September. Based in Aberdeen, South Dakota this event will provide an exciting venue for all individuals who have any interest in Celtic heritage or history, arts, sports and entertainment. There will be vendors with a vast array of products for sale, Bagpipers of both the Scottish and Irish styles, Scottish and Irish dancers, traditional and modern Celtic music, Scottish Heavy Games, children's activities, and demonstrations. The night will end with a Ceili, originally a community party, which today usually consists of live music and dancing. Our commitment to the Celtic heritage is paramount in our preparations. We hope to provide this region with an event of the highest quality that will, year after year, draw crowds of people form near and far who have a love of all things Celtic, and those who just want to learn more about the Celtic culture and history.

The Northeast South Dakota Celtic Faire and Games committee is comprised of driven people who live locally. We all have a vested interest in this community and are highly motivated to see this event be successful. The committee is not backed financially by any separate entity, therefore, success is not possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Your donation will provide the funds necessary to provide a suitable location, athletic equipment, and top notch entertainment. In return you will receive advertising in our event program and listings in other parts of the event, depending on your level of donation (please see sponsorship levels below). Sponsorship may be made toward a certain event, or into the general fund, and can be cash or for the value of services provided. The NESD Celtic Faire and Games committee is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization. Sponsorship may be tax deductible. Please consult with your tax professional.
