The NESD Celtic Faire is excited to announce that we will be having a trebuchet contest at this year’s Faire. We are having categories which include High School and College/University teams. Please click the link for a rules list. Click here for Trebuchet Rules.
The contest occurs on Saturday Sept 17th. More information will be provided once we know how many teams are participating. We also invite you to pick a team name and a theme with costumes, banners for your trebuchet, etc. Anyone wearing costumes or decorative items on the trebuchet must be safe when handling and operating the trebuchet.
Prizes are still being, so there aren’t any guarantees just yet. It may be simply bragging rights and the fact that you get to show people a cool siege engine.
