Road bowling is open to all ages, however, all rules and safety regulations must be followed, and all bowlers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
General Rules:
- 12 & under bowlers will play on a 1/2 mile course with their adult.
- Ages 13 & up will play the full mile course.
- It is the responsibility of all players to read and understand the road bowling rules.
- Each team will have a captain. It is the captain who determines the order of play for the team.
- There are no handicaps.
- Substitutes will be allowed.
Costs and fees:
- Each team and family must purchase or own an official 28 oz ball. It may be shared amongst the team or family. If you need a ball, they will be $12.00.
- Single bowlers will also be required to have their own ball. Balls may not be shared in the single bowler division. If you need a ball they will be $12.00.
- All bowlers must join the league and pay the season league fee. It is $10.00 per person for the season. Ages 12 and under are $3.00 per person for the season.
- Each match will cost $3.00 per person ($1.00 per person for under 12).
- Each regular season match winner will receive a cash prize at the end of the match.
- Each person that has competed during the regular season, whether they won or not, may play during the Championship match occurring on September 18th. The championship winner will be awarded a trophy.
